Mechanic
DUTIES
Complete preventive maintenance and repairs on all vehicles in the fleet (consists of 100+) vehicle along with a team of mechanics. Our fleet consists of fire apparatus, ambulances, pick up trucks and sports utility vehicles.
QUALIFICATIONS
- To be successful in this position, an individual must be able to work 40 hours per week
- Ability to lift the minimum of 75 lbs.+, bend, squat, work outdoors and within the mechanic garage
- 3-5 years of Mechanical Experience in a fast-paced environment
- Be able to effectively, professionally, and compassionately work with all employees & vendors
- Automatic Service Excellence ASE Certified (Preferred)
- Ability to become Emergency Vehicle Technician certified
