EMS Logistics Assistant

Chatham Emergency Services is now hiring for a EMS Logistics Assistant. This position will directly report to the Logistics Captain. The assistant will support the EMS staff with supplies.

The position duties include but not limited to:

  • Responsible for EMS supplies, stocking, ordering.
  • Able to learn/repair simple fixes to EMS equipment
  • Anticipate that they will assume oversight of cots including simple repairs and routine PMs.
  • Will coordinate Operative IQ database
  • Paramedic (preferred) or EMT (minimum)
  • 20 hours/week to start (may combine hours with road shifts to equal Full Time status)
  • Anticipate that this position will grow and need someone who is self motivated and accountable without prompting.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent organization and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer Friendly and Strong Team Player
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Georgia Certified EMT or Georgia Certified Paramedic (preferred)
