EMS Collections Clerk/Bookkeeper
Chatham Emergency Services has an opening for an EMS Collections Clerk/Bookkeeper. This position will record outstanding payments for emergency medical services which will include invoicing and customer communication. Handling tasks related to balancing revenues received and reconciling billing reports. Working directly with our third party billing company to ensure all payments are recorded and reconciled daily to ensure accuracy.
-Recording all payments within our finance software, Sage Intacct
-Reconciling monthly back account(s)
-Invoicing for services rendered to various vendors
-Recording all payments received
-Coding payments with the correct G/L General Ledger codes in accounting software
-Working directly with 3rd party billing company to ensure all payments are recorded and reconciled daily/monthly
-Working directly with customers for medical records request
-Other Duties as assigned
Accounting Experience, Customer Service and Professionalism
-Must be able to successful pass background check, credit check, drug-test and pre-employment physical
